Water can be contaminated by things that do dissolve and things that don't. We take our clean water supply for granted, but other people are not so lucky. Take a look at this video! http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8QY4wMYE3Q. These people have their health at risk. We have tried various ways to filter out dirt and nasties from water but have found that filtering only separates insoluble things from water.

Science Sites about our last topic - Interderdependence and adaptation

This site provides lots of information about different habitats and the life you can find there. http://http://www.naturegrid.org.uk/children.html

The simple science website is great for potted summaries of the scientific ideas in each topic. There is a catchy song that makes memorising these key ideas and vocabulary easy. Here is the bit relating to this usit. http://http://www.simplescience.net/6a_-_adapting.html
