Today Year 6 had a visit from Chris Smith who came to talk to us about 'Vocations'.
We learnt that this word means 'being called By God' and literally comes from the Latin word 'vocare' which means 'to call'. It was the first time that some of us had thought about our own special mission as followers of Christ. Our mission is our vocation and each vocation is different.
We found the afternoon very interesting and joined in with lots of our own thoughts and ideas. We now know that our vocation is becoming the person that God wants us to be.

mr smith was very good at explaining what vocation means
and when he asked us what we want to be when we are older.It was fun when we palyed the whisperes game my team got the word completely wrong.
