This morning Year 6 had a trip to Archbishop Ilsley. We were lucky enough to spend the morning solving fun and tricky maths puzzles in groups. Two of our favourites were balancing penguins on a wobbley piece of ice and fitting together all the pieces of a tricky and colourful jig- saw puzzle.
The morning gave us all chance to work in a team and learn how to PLAN a solution. Everyone worked together brilliantly and we hope now to bring all these problem solving skills to our maths lessons!
